In the neon-lit backdrop of the 1980s, Bret Cassette, a devoted family man and successful businessman, finds himself spiraling into a treacherous addiction to a revolutionary virtual reality product called Virtual Shroud. Unbeknownst to him, the addictive technology is the brainchild of an evil corporation called New Life Corp., setting Bret on a collision course between his virtual utopia and the crumbling reality he must save.
